If you have not tried dried mandarin oranges you should give it a try!! Amazing product lineup at very reasonable prices. Staff is very helpful and service is always with a smile. Highly recommended

This is a Trader Joe's for the downtown and student population of Berkeley. It's also conveniently located for pedestrians - at the intersection of MLK and University. It's well laid out for the size, but has a weird checkout area (with two lines) that can get backed up. Normal TJ's experience. Easy to access, has bay wheels station outside, bus stop, and parking garage. Gets really busy in the late afternoons (4-7pm) pretty standard tho as people get out of work and school and head for groceries. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
